Report a data problem
Spotted a wrong rule, rate, or schedule? Email us the address, what the app showed, and what the street signs actually say (a photo of the sign is gold). Data fixes ship to all users without an app update.

Frequently asked questions
The app shows parking as allowed, but there's a sign that says otherwise. Which is right?
The sign. Always. Posted signs, curb markings, meters, and enforcement officers govern β city data can lag behind temporary restrictions, construction, events, and new signage. Please report the mismatch so we can fix it for everyone. See our parking information disclaimer.
Why does CurbScout ask for “Always” location access?
It's optional. With background access, CurbScout can detect when you've parked and warn you before street sweeping or a meter deadline catches your parked car. The core app works fine with “While Using” access β you can change this anytime in iOS Settings → CurbScout → Location.
How do I set up my residential parking permit?
Open Profile → Permits, toggle your residential permit on, and pick your zone. CurbScout will then treat matching permit-zone blocks as parkable for you (and keep warning you about sweeping and other restrictions that still apply).
How fresh is the parking data?
Meter schedules, rates, and regulations are rebuilt from official city sources on a rolling basis, and data updates reach the app automatically β no app update needed. Availability estimates are model-based predictions from public data, not live sensor feeds.
How do I delete my account and data?
Email us from the address associated with your account and we'll erase your account and its data within 30 days. Details in the privacy policy.
Is CurbScout on Android?
Not yet β CurbScout is iPhone-first. Android is on the roadmap; email us if you'd like to be notified.
